							Character development can be painful. It's actually starting to annoy *me* how much of a wuss Ninten is this early on. Still, you try taking on that many foes by yourself, with nothing but a tattered old baseball bat...  |

							Much as I wanted to leave the backgrounds of panels 2 and 3 plain white, I caved and colored them in. As you can see. And it's probably easy enough to guess, but the Hippie's prayer was originally "Ekke, ekke, ekke, ekke, p'tang, zoo-boing, zow zing". I'm not sure if I felt that Monty Python references are hardly even funny anymore now that everyone gets them, or if I felt too much like I was swiping the phrase in slimeball fashion, but either way, eventually I just invented my own chant for him.  |

							Ninten wasn't centered properly in the panel where he's sneaking past the crowd of snoozing foes, but I only noticed this after I had inked him in, so I "letterboxed" the panel. I guess it works better that way artistically, too...  |
